Volunteers make school events, fundraising programs, and committees possible. They are only successful because of volunteers!

Follow these steps to volunteer on campus:

  • All ACS volunteers are required to submit a background check to the school office. You can obtain a background check by going in person to the New Orleans Police Department at 715 South Broad Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. Bring $5 cash for the processing fee. Return the paper copy of your background check to the school office, where it will be kept on file.

  • Volunteers and chaperones must complete the DCFS Mandated Reporter Training each year. All adults who supervise students are required to be mandatory reporters.
